As a aspiring song writer and music producer,  Mardi Vegas thebeatsniper, has been a driving creative force with the development of unsigned music projects in the United States and abroad. As a subtle musician he prides himself on being a “background kinda guy”. He loves working with other artists, writers, music producers, mixers, and audio engineers. Born Marshall Pettway in the deep south and infuenced by his southern roots he describes his production and writing style as Rap-Blues. This is a category that Mardi has created which defines his music as profound, salty, emotional, conversational, and inspiring.

In his hometown of Prichard, Alabama a suburb located just north of the city of  Mobile, Alabama. Marshall  grew up influenced by what he describes as the “smorgasbord of music”. A place where Church and Blues music runs deep into the city’s foundation and is complimented by the threaded sounds of Rap/Hip Hop, Soulful R&B, Metal, Rock, Dance, Reggae etc. Marshall is credited with many underground (meaning unsigned or unaffiliated with any major/major independent labels) music projects, but has his sight set on his latest work entitled Way Back When.  Listed under the publishing platform Broadband Music Publishing Group and the iCloud like-production thebeatsniper.com. This will be the first of many and with todays’ advances in media and production technology his work shall reach the ears of all those who can appreciate just a little southern charm from time to time.
